Owners - Gary Simmons and Brian Basham
Gary's father, Jack Simmons founded Simmons Nissan over 40 years ago - and today, Simmons is the oldest Nissan franchise in North Carolina. Growing up in the business, Gary acquired a strong work ethic and philosophy of treating his customers like family. He worked his way up through the business doing everything from washing cars to selling them, to finally overseeing the operations of the store as a whole.
Meanwhile, Brian's automotive career began over 20 years ago. He has learned to provide excellent service critical to dealer success while in sales, finance, service and management. His "customer first" philosophy has served customers well over the years, and it took him from working at a Nissan dealership to eventually co-owning one.
Gary and Brian are family-oriented and enjoy spending their free time with their wives and kids (ask Gary about his cows and Brian about cooking on his Big Green Egg!!). Their family philosophy spills over into work and is one of the reasons Simmons Nissan has been around and why it will continue to be for many years to come!
